The Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation (HITO) recently released an up-market publication profiling 22 champions of training within the hairdressing industry.

Erica Cumming, HITO’s CEO says “the Champions book is a celebration of an elite group of New Zealanders absolutely committed to apprenticeship training in their salons”. They train the hairstylists who end up working in hair, fashion and beauty and who the industry hopes are most likely the people styling your hair said Erica. boutique@shazly: Client Evening

Eighty five people came to our January Client Evening which was a great turn out. Mandy Smale, Image Consultant & Stylist, the owner of Style Sense, inspired the crowd with colour tones and dressing for different personalities. 

Favourite wine for the night was Sauvignon Blanc from the Wairarapa Region and crumbed jumbo prawns among other finger foods kept the crowd entertained.

Everyone who attended the function received a goodie bag with products and vouchers worth $350.00.

Next Client Evening will be held on Saturday 27 February 2010.  Guest Speaker Lisa Ching from Classique Beauty & Bridal Boutique will talk about skin analysis and choosing the correct products for your skin.
