Shazly is one of the very few people on the NZ Association of Registered Hairdressers Inc. Official Judges List. She represented New Zealand at the Australasian Oceanic Masters Awards in Australia in August 2009 and competed at the International Awards in Christchurch in 2010.
Shazly won Wellington Region's Most Inspirational Role Model Award from Her Business in 2010.

Shazly and her Team have won more than 60 places over the years at various hair fashion awards. Shazly is recognized as an industry training champion by the Hairdressing Industry Training Organization. So far only 22 salons hold this title.
Shazly holds Wellington Region's Top Senior Styling Award in Hairdressing for 2010.

Shazly started her hairdressing career in 1996 in Hamilton. She was trained at Patrick's Hairdressing School, one of the best hairdressing academies in New Zealand.
